A very Happy New Year to all who take the time to come on here and read our news.  The site will be updated soon when we have some new news of the girls and their activities.

26th/27th DECEMBER 2017

Our much expected puppies decided to make an appearance on the eve of Boxing Day.  The first one arrived at 9.30pm and after that they continued to arrive until the last one at 5.45am!  In total there were 11......7 boys and 4 girls.  To date they are all doing well and suckling well.  Their mother ...(Achnacarry Sophies Girl) .....Samantha shortened to Sam was a bit shell shocked at the beginning but is now coping admirably and I think enjoying them.  She is eating well and now going outside for five minutes.  She is very protective of her new family.
Thanks to Miccosukees and Hilary Lockyer for allowing us to use Miccosukees Action Man (Rodney) and he is now again a proud Dad.

Once again we travelled south of the border ..this time to Midland Counties Show.  Sam was in Open class and Tallulah in Limit.
This time the tables were turned and Tallulah was 2nd in a huge Limit class but sadly it wasn't Sams day this time and she wasn't placed.
However I took the best dogs home! ☺️🐾

15th SEPTEMBER 2017

We were off in our travels again this time to Ripon Race Course where the show is held.  Another attractive venue where the camping is at a premium but we are rewarded with a beautiful lake to walk round...approximately 10 furlongs!  So just over 1 mile round.  There are always swans, geese coming in , ducks and other wildlife so quite enchanting.

We had a super show and our thanks goes to our judge..breed specialist..Carol Daniels.
Tallulah was 3rd in Limit but the star of the day was Samantha who won Open class then was awarded the bitch ticket, her first Challenge Certificate.  She then went in against the best dog and was awarded Best of Breed!
Well worth while travelling down and we came away feeling very proud.

3rd SEPTEMBER 2017

We had a decent show at Birmingham dog show where both Sam and Tallulah were 2nd in strong classes so although we wanted to better this we were content enough.
We always love the venue where there is permanent hook up......very posh.....loads of space and walks for the dogs .  It also boasts a super farm shop with good food as well as a few items to buy for presents to take home.

Well once again a very successful show.  Leeds seems to be my Lucky show.
Achnacarry Quincys Girl.....Tallulah was 2nd in Limit and Samantha was also 2nd in her Open class.
However when the bitch challenge came on Sam was called back in and was awarded the Reserve Bitch Challenge Certificate.  I was over the moon.  Hopefully it will be the CC next time!

Next Sandy Johnston showed Achnacarry Records Boy (Conall) in Open dogs class and he won his class then was awarded the dog CC making this one his 3rd and therefore making him up to a Champion.  He was also Best of Breed which was absolutely thrilling.
Many congratulations to Carol and Sandy Johnston for bringing him out in lovely condition with a fabulous hard coat.
I am so happy to have bred my first Champion.

20th MAY 2017

What a wonderful day we had at the above show.  Only took Tallulah (Achnacarry Quincys Girl) as I had expected Samantha to have puppies around now.  Sadly she isn't in pup.  However Tallulah saved the day by winning a strong Limit class....first time entered in it.   The she went on to be awarded the Bitch Reserve Challenge Certificate .  Thanks to our judge Zena Thorn-Andrews.

The icing on the cake was with Achnacarry Records Boy.......Conall bred by me and owned by Sandy and Carol Johnstone winning his Open Class then he went on to be Best Dog and his second Challenge Certificate ......then the ultimate .......Best of Breed.

4th APRIL 2017

The first show of the year for us was Crufts to which I took Sam and Tallulah to  .  Sam was 2nd in Limit class and Tallulah entertained everyone leaping up and down and not walking for the judge!  She was Very Highly Commended.

However this week she redeemed herself by  appearing in the Schnauzer Club of Great Britain magazine as Joint Top Puppy in 2016 making me a very proud Owner  and Breeder.

The other piece of news is that Achnacarry Sophie's Girl .......Sam.....may hopefully be in pup due around 21st May.  Her suitor was Rodney.......Champion Miccosukees Action Man.
