31st December. 2016.

Well the end of the year is almost upon us and as I look back on it I have decided it has been a good year for me and my dogs..
My little dog Tallulah.....Achnacarry Quincys Girl has done me proud winning most of her classes.....puppy then junior ending up Best Schnauzer Puppy .  Samantha .......Achnacarry Sophie's Girl has also won most of her classes.  Unlike Tallulah who picked up two Reserve Challenge Certificates as well as several Best Puppy awards Sam only won one Reserve Challenge Certificate but she remains my most faithfull dog and would always protect me.  The rest of the dogs have done their bit and I love them all.
Below is our oldest Schnauzer Tiffany who will be 15 on 7th March 2017 .  A very honest genuine dog.

The next and last show of the year for us was the Northern Schnauzer Show which was held at Elsecar near Barnsley.
Our Judge was Lucy Dixon and Tallulah won a very strong Junior Class then Sam also won her Limit class making it a thrilling end to my show year with the girls.
The icing on the cake was to open the dog paper to read that Tallulah was TOP Schnauzer Puppy for the year.
However I learnt just after writing this that another puppy was on the same points at the end of the show year so we are now Joint Schnauzer Puppay of the year.   Still very gratifying and exciting for Tallulahs future.

28th October 2016

On 28th October I showed Tallulah and Samantha at the Midland  Counties Show.  This was another first for me but a lovely venue and nice camp site.
We didn't have such a good day.  Tallulah was 4th out of 8 dogs.  She was quite hyper and cheeky so perhaps that didn't help her.  Sam was 3rd in her class but we enjoyed catching up with friends.  It was lovely to see Pippa Moore win with her mothers dog, Odivane Whizz Kidd as Mary Moore had sadly passed away that week .  She will be a big loss to the Schnauzer world.  Of course she was the breeder of our first Schnauzer, Odivane Rising Son and then Tiffany (Odivane Sultry Sally)

Afetr I came home from that show I attended Perth Canine Club Open Show and also the Scottish Utility Breed Club show where I showed Tallulah and Sam.  Both won their classes and Sam was Best of Breed at both shows.
The photo shows Tallulah at Midland Counties and also Ruby her sister.

17th September 2016

This time it was Darlington Championship Show held at one of my favourite sites......Ripon Racecourse.  It was a mixed day.  Tallulah was on springs so only managed a third prize.   Sophie a Very Highly Commended but Sam at least won the day winning her Limit class.

4th SEPTEMBER 2016

This was my first time away south on my own with the dogs with no Carol and Sandy to support me.  However with a little phone help I managed to set up my surround for the dogs round the caravan and I had very nice neighbours with six charming  Miniature Pinschers.

I had a wonderful show.  Tallulah (Achnacarry Quincys Girl) won a large Junior  class but as she was still a puppy she was eligible to compete for Best Puppy and GOT it!!  Sam also had a good day winning her Limit class.
The icing on the cake was when Tallulah was awarded her second Reserve Challenge Certificate.
I was extremely proud And kept Pippa Moore company with her Best of Breed Champion Odivane Wizz Kidd whilst we waited for our groups.  Neither of us was considered in the short lists but never the less it was an absolutely brilliant day.

27th July 2016

We went down to Leeds Dog Show held at Harewood House near Harrogate with all the dogs but showed Tallulah , Sam and Sophie.
Had a super day with Tallulah (Achnacarry Quincys Girl) winning puppy class and being awarded Best Puppy.
Sam (Achnacarry Sophie's Girl) was 2nd in a good Limit class and their mother Sophie (Achnacarry Sashas Girl) was Reserve in Open Bitch class.

Another two of our dogs, Achnacarry Sultry Sally was 3rd in puppy class and Conall won his Limit dog class and was awarded Reserve Challenge Certificate so a great day for Achnacarry breeding.

21st May 2016

We took Sophie, Sam and Tallulah to the Scottish Kennel Club show at Ingliston and were rewarded by super results from all the girls but especially little Tallulah,  Achnacarry Quincys Girl , who at 8 months won puppy class, junior class and was awarded Best Puppy in breed and also got the bitch Reserve Challenge Certificate.  What a great day.  Sam was 2nd in her class and Sophie was 4th which is Reserve in dog terms.

26th March 2016
I took Sam , Sophie and Tallulah to the Schnauzer Club of Great Britain Championship dog show near Coventry and we had a good day.
It was Sams first time in Limit class and she won.  I was well pleased.
Then Tallulah was in puppy class and came a good 5th in her class.  It was her first show.
Sophie was in Open class but this time wasnt placed but all the dogs gave a good account of themselves.
